This project is a featurette-style infographic video showcasing Kawarthas, Ontario. It combines cinematic footage with animated text and data-driven visuals to highlight geography, tourism, wildlife, and regional insights in a compelling and easy-to-understand format.
The objective was to communicate key regional insights through visually engaging motion graphics. The challenge was to balance storytelling with data presentation, ensuring that the information remained clear, visually appealing, and easy to follow without overwhelming the viewer.
The process began with scriptwriting and identifying key data points to highlight. Visual references and footage were selected to match the narrative. Motion graphics, typography animations, and infographic overlays were designed and animated in Adobe After Effects, focusing on smooth transitions, timing, and visual clarity.
The final deliverable is a polished infographic featurette video combining motion graphics, animated typography, and cinematic visuals. It effectively communicates key information about the Kawarthas region while maintaining a visually engaging and professional presentation style.
