An interactive touchscreen kiosk designed to educate visitors about Ontario Provincial Parks, including park history, visitor information, activities, and wildlife insights.
This kiosk application presents detailed information about Ontario Parks through multiple interactive screens. It includes sections such as park history timelines, visitor information, park activities, classifications, and wildlife education like the boreal forest songbird nursery.
The objective was to design a highly engaging and easy-to-use kiosk interface for public spaces. The challenge was to create a visually rich yet simple navigation system that works seamlessly on large touchscreens, ensuring accessibility, readability, and smooth interaction for users of all age groups.
The process began with understanding user interaction in kiosk environments and structuring content accordingly. Wireframes were created for different sections such as history, visitor information, and wildlife. The UI was then designed with large touch-friendly elements, bold typography, and clear visual hierarchy. Finally, the interface was developed with smooth transitions and interactive navigation between screens.
The final deliverable is a fully functional digital kiosk system designed for public installations. It includes multiple interactive screens showcasing park information, activities, and wildlife content, optimized for touchscreen usability and large display environments.
